Bio
Lauren P. Burka is a writer and an editor. Both jobs allow her to spend all day with words and other fabulous inventions. Her publication history begins in 1992 with her Circlet Press chapbook Mate: and more tales from the erotic edge of sf/fantasy. Susie Bright’s 1997′s Best American Erotica reprinted the short story “Mate.” Lauren’s science fiction story “The Secession” appeared in Absolute Magnitude #13, Spring, 2000. She is an assistant editor of Circlet Press, and is the editor of the gender-queer anthologies Up for Grabs volume 1 and 2 from Circlet Press. Torquere Books has published her novella, “The Memorial Garden” and novel Wishbone. Her most recent single-tail whip purchase was an seven-foot Aussie-style bullwhip.
